Voicemail is a "Personalised Answering Service" which is associated with your extension number. Calls to your phone are routed to the voicemail computer which greets callers and takes messages for you. Voicemail facilities are available on any extension which is registered to a member of staff, with the exception of certain administrative functions. If you wish to have voicemail enabled on your extension, please contact the Service Desk

Voicemail Facilities

Can handle many messages at once

Can take messages while your phone is busy

Tells you the date and time that a message was left

Allows you to manage your voice mailbox remotely

Allows you to change your greeting easily

Allows you to forward messages with comments

Can transfer a call when the caller presses a key

Is always there to keep in touch with your callers when you are busy or away from your office

To change your voicemail:

  1. Dial 3001.
  2. Enter your security code.
  3. Press 4 - greetings menu.
  4. Press 6 - standard greeting.
  5. Press 2 - record your message.
  6. Press 2 - to start/stop recording.
  7. Press 5 - save the recording.

My voicemail box if full. How do I delete messages?

  1. Access your voicemail by dialling 3001.
  2. Enter your security code.
  3. Press 5 - listen to a message.
  4. Press 3 - (while the message is playing) to delete a message.
