Blended Learning

resources for Blended Learning

Image for BL page‌Blended learning combines classroom teaching with online learning, drawing on the strengths of each learning space. Some appropriate teaching and learning activities are made available in the online learning space, giving students control over some aspects of time, place and pace during their studies. The exact nature of the blend depends very much on the lecturer, the students, the organisation and the learning and teaching activities that need to take place. This approach can optimise student engagement and increase flexibility in a pedagogically effective way.  See our Blended Learning resource for information on the types of activities and resources that can be integrated into your modules and some tips on how to support your students in a blended learning environment.
