The Governing Body of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) oversees the management and controls the affairs of the Institute. Governing Body performs the functions conferred on the Institute by the Dublin Institute of Technology Act 1992, the Dublin Institute of Technology (Amendment Act) 1994 and the Institutes of Technology Acts 1992 -2006.
