Learning Development at College of Business
TU Dublin College of Business values supporting learning development for staff. Recent initiatives facilitate the intellectual, personal and professional growth of teaching staff through learning, reflection and conversation. The intention is to provide a supportive and challenging environment in which teaching staff in the College can continue to learn and grow and students can continue to enjoy quality learning experiences.
In 2019, a number of teaching and learning initiatives have been run, including a new ‘Lunch & Learn’ series focusing on Rubrics for Assessment & Feedback and Brightspace Rubrics . Communication of T&L work is important and a bi-semester Business of Learning Newsletter disseminates all the events taking place in the College.
Specific events are aimed at the reflective practitioners in Case Study Teaching and support the collaborative community of Business Educators that exist.
There is also an ‘A-Z Series of Digital Resources’ available to support staff thinking about using a range of digital tools and resources in their programmes to enhance student learning. This has been developed in collaboration with the Library, and a different Business resource will feature each semester.
