DIT College of Business Study Abroad Programme
The College of Business has links with one hundred high caliber universities worldwide who ensure that DIT students will have a memorable, challenging and rewarding experience at their Business School. Depending on your programme of study there may be opportunities to study in USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Korea and throughout Europe. In return, over one hundred students come to DIT to study and live in Dublin, enriching the student experience.
In addition, DIT hosts visiting student groups from around the world providing academic, industry and cultural perspectives on doing business in Ireland.
DIT has been an active participant in the Erasmus programme since its inception. This programme allows DIT students to study or work for between 3 and 12 months in another EU state (or in Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway or Turkey).
The College of Business is also a proud member of NIBS (Network of International Business Schools), an international network of 100 business schools that facilitates academic collaboration in business education.
Study Abroad Opportunities for DIT Students
DIT students opting for a study visit spend a semester or full academic year at a partner institution, usually in their third year of study. The time spent in the host institution is fully recognised by DIT through the use of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and is a core element of the students’ degree programme. As an exchange student to our partner universities there are no tuition fees payable. Students simply have to pay their travel, living and normal study costs.
