Peclers Paris showcase 'Womenswear Trend Forecast for Autumn/Winter 2018/19'

Peclers Paris presented their Womenswear trend forecast for Autumn/Winter 2018/19 at the Arthur Ryan Retail Centre.

Janet Holbrook and Lucy Hailey, representing Peclers Paris and Holbrook Studio London joined us at the Arthur Ryan Retail Centre on Thursday 7th September to present the Womenswear Trend Forecast for Autumn/Winter 2018/19. There to gain insight from the leading forecasting agency were some of Ireland's key decision makers in the fashion industry with top fashion buyers and designers along with students from our very own Fashion Buying & Management Programme

Fashion Buying Event

Firstly introduced in the morning session were the key colours to make an impact for Autumn/Winter 2018/19 with Opulent Browns, Shocking Pinks and Irish Greens making the cut. Fabrics forecasted by Peclers Paris to have a heavy focus were Corduroy, Quilting and Cyber Metallics. In the afternoon, the mostly anticipated presentation on womenswear trends for Autumn Winter 18/19 were showcased with elaborate mood boards and visuals from the top catwalk trends of New York, London, Milan and Paris. ‌

Barbara Mohan, Programme Manager for the Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Buying & Management states the importance and value for students in attending this event as part of their coursework as they gain insight and understanding to the role of a fashion buyer with the opportunity to network and also learn from Peclers Paris, one of the world's leading forecasting agency. 

The event was organised in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland and hosted at DIT College of Business- Arthur Ryan Retail Centre.
