''In 2013, I made the decision that I was going to return to education as a mature student. Inspired by overcoming a prolonged health battle with epilepsy, I was reinvigorated and ready to go and create a future for myself.
I was initially offered a place on a Level 6 Certificate in Business Studies at D.I.T Aungier Street. While on this general business programme I developed a natural proficiency towards finance, as well as numeracy weighted modules.
D.I.T was the perfect institution to nurture my development, offering a vast selection of additional services both educational and extracurricular in nature, to aid in the transition back to education.
After graduating from the certificate with a final average of 83%, I was awarded a place in the penultimate year of an undergraduate degree in Accounting & Finance. This was a natural continuation for me as a passion and adeptness for accountancy had grown in me during my first few year’s in college.''
