DIT Advertising & Digital Communication Postgrad wins a place on The Cannes Young Lions Team Ireland 2018.

Niamh Ryan, a Junior Creative at 'In the Company of Huskies' will represent Team Ireland at this year’s annual international Cannes Lions Festival, the worlds most respected advertising awards festival.

Niamh, a student on our renowned Part-Time Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising & Digital Communication, is one of 12 of Ireland’s most creative young stars who will compete on an international stage in Cannes this June. Niamh is joined on the 'Print Team' Emily Blaney who is Graphic Designer also working at 'In the Company of Huskies' and you can find their winning entry here. 

Speaking on the shortlist announcement Jay Taberner, Acting CEO IAPI said "We’ve been completely blown away by the caliber of entries in this year’s national heats – I can honestly say that the future of the Irish creative industry is safe in the hands of our young talent if what we’ve seen from our entrants this year is anything to go by. For the 5th consecutive year we’ll be taking an Irish team to Cannes and in terms of life and career experience it’s unrivalled. The five day trip gives our creative stars the best opportunity to learn about the best marketing communications in the world, global trends for the industry while also allowing them to present their ideas on a world stage and ultimately propelling their career to the next level."
