On Tuesday 17th April, DIT College of Business were delighted to welcome Chris Byrne of Workday for our breakfast briefing 'Lessons from Ireland's Most Trusted Leader 2018' in association with Great Place to Work Ireland.
As Senior VP Global Operations at Workday, Chris Byrne has a unique insight into an organisation that has grown rapidly while ensuring that they developed a sustainable culture. With more than 800 employees in Ireland, Workday have regularly featured amongst the very best workplaces in Ireland – topping the Best Large list in 2017.
Guests from DIT College of Business and Great Place to Work Ireland Community gathered at the Aungier street campus to hear first-hand, as Chris recounted her career journey, and the values and principles she brings to her leadership style. She also enlightened the audience about the practical importance of truth, integrity, and authenticity. Attendees left with key takeaways on how to build a culture of trust within their business that helps to retain and attract talent, while gaining specific insights on practices that build trust levels.
