Visiting Professor Dr. Monika Huesmann 'Comparative Employment Relations'

DIT College of Business were honoured to host special guest lectures delivered by Professor Dr. Monika Huesmann from the Berlin School of Economics and Law on the topic of 'Comparative Employment Relations' at our Aungier Street Campus.
School of Management students from the BSc. in Human Resource Management and the MSc. in Human Resource Management were present to hear from visiting guest lecturer, Professor Huesmann and her key research interests in the areas of Diversity Management, Flexible Working Arrangements, Recruitment, Human Resource Development, and Industrial Relations.
Commenting on the sessions Dr. Mary Prendergast, Programme Chair and Assistant Head, School of Management, said ‘This has proved to be a very successful visit for students and academics alike, providing an international context for students and also a terrific opportunity for DIT staff to collaborate with colleagues in the Berlin School of Economics and Law in the future.’
Dr. Prendergast also commented on the calibre of academic staff who deliver on the HRM programmes at DIT School of Management 'Our degree and Masters programmes in HRM are among the leading dedicated level 8 and level 9 human resource management programmes in Ireland.
