As an IMCA accredited programme, the full-time MSc Strategic Management students were invited to participate in the Institute’s inaugural ‘Talking Consultant’ competition, which was created to highlight the critical importance of effective communication, public speaking and presentation skills to a successful career in consulting. The competition was followed by the ‘IMCA Connect’ event, as it brought together MSc students from IMCA Accredited programmes and Recruitment Teams from a number of the IMCA member consulting firms who are in the market for new talent.
The Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers (IMCA) is the national and internationally recognised professional institute for management consultants and business advisers in Ireland. Another benefit for students of the DIT Masters in Strategic Management, as an IMCA accredited programme, is the entitlement to free graduate membership of the Institute for the duration their course of study and for 12 months following completion.
Graduate membership provides access to a range of benefits such as CV building, access to IMCA resources, networking events at reduced or no cost, attendance at careers in consulting events and most importantly access to consultancy practitioners through our website, LinkedIn Group and attendance at events.
