TU Dublin M.Sc Marketing teams collaborate with Microsoft in Online Advertising Challenge Event

For the second year running, students of the Masters in Marketing collaborated with Microsoft to build and execute live online advertising campaigns with a predetermined budget, for local SMBs using Microsoft's Bing Ads platform. The students worked with a range of Irish  businesses, in areas including recruitment, entertainment and hair salons, and the programme finished with the students presenting their campaign outcomes at an event at the College of Business, TU Dublin City Campus.

John Bodkin graduated from the MSc Marketing in 2013 and was delighted to return in his role as Search Advertising Account Manager at Microsoft to collaborate with TU Dublin on this exciting programme 'In regards to the overall project, it's a great way for us to integrate into a modern day digital curriculum and also to help us evangelise to the next wave of digital superstars.' 

Edel Foley, Lecturer in Marketing at TU Dublin College of Business and Digital Marketing Module Co-ordinator explained 'This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain real world experience and to engage with companies online marketing initiatives and digital strategy.'
