Free Eye Testing
The DIT National Optometry Centre (NOC) offer FREE eye testing.
Clinics & Prices
The clinic is open 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-4pm Friday.
Patients are seen by appointment although sometimes they can facilitate walk-in visits on occasions.
The following is a list of services available at the NOC:
Special Assessment (for people with special needs & learning disabilities)
Eye examinations & colour vision assessment for VDU users
How much does it cost?
Student Clinics - free of charge
Private clinic - please contact the National Optometry Centre reception
A 10% discount is available on spectacles dispensed to patients who have been examined in the student clinics.

Less than 5 minutes walk from St Stephens Green. The clinic is located at 19A Lower Kevin Street. This is on the junction of Kevin Street and New Bride Street.
Meter parking available on Kevin Street and New Bride Street.
Car parks at the Stephens Green shopping Centre and the Royal College of Surgeons (both within a few minutes walking distance).
By public Transport:
LUAS (green line) - our clinic is less than 5 minutes walk from the final LUAS stop at St. Stephens Green
