Accommodation Information for International Students

Fáilte

‌Welcome and thank you for choosing to study with us in the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Living and studying in another country can seem a bit overwhelming at first but it's also an amazing and exciting experience and one which we are confident you will enjoy. We hope that you benefit from your time in DIT and have an opportunity to experience the culture of Dublin and Ireland.

Our campuses are currently located on both sides of the city and over the next few years all the DIT campuses merge onto one location. Grangegorman is situated just on the outskirts of the city centre, and will offer students the unique experience of studying at a newly developed third level institute.

The new campus will be providing student residencies on site and until such time as they are built we have an agreement with some accommodation providers around the city to reserve accommodation for DIT students. Details of all our accommodation are available here

Alternatively if you are interested in living with an Irish Host Family please contact hostfamilies@dit.ie for our listing.

Our City

Dublin is a small capital city and quite easy to navigate. The river Liffey runs through the centre dividing Dublin into the Northside and Southside. North side post codes are odd numbers and Southside postal codes are even numbers.

The map below displays the location of the main DIT campuses and transport lines and links.
