Dr Brian Keegan


Brian is a Senior lecturer in DIT, School of Computer Science teaching undergraduate and post graduate courses. Teaching duties include network engineering, CCNA R&S, Secure Systems Development, Systems Administration.
Prior to working with the School of Computing, Brian worked with Sun Microsystems (Oracle) in Dublin as part of the Solaris ON-PIT group. Brian has previously worked with Cisco Systems in San Jose as part of the WNBU group where he investigated high profile client issues using equipment such as Azymuth Test Bed for problem analysis.
Brian is the Cisco NetAcademy Support Center Advisor and Staff conact for the School of Computer Science.

Brian is an Expert Evaluator for the EU Commision on Europen funded projects such as H2020. Brian is the Principal Investigator for the Erasmus+ Project FOSS4SMEs
(http://www.foss4smes.eu/). Brian is also invloved with international Projects and collaborations such as Hublinked, GETM3 and Informatics Europe.
