Dr Martin McHugh


I started lecturing in DIT in 2013. Prior to this I worked as a systems engineer for the third largest IT service provider in the world. During this time I completed an M.Sc. in Computing. In 2014 I completed my PhD in the field of Medical Device Software Engineering. I am currently the Programme Chairperson for the B.Sc. in Information Systems/Information Technology (Part time) in DIT. My areas of interest are Medical Device Software Engineering, Digital Forensics and Computer Networking. I am a certified Cisco instructor along with currently holind the MCSE qualification
