Applications for Part-time Music Programmes

DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama is currently accepting applications for part-time music programmes for the academic session 2012-13, for classes starting in September 2012.  To apply for the courses below, please submit an online application form.  You are welcome to apply for more than one course, but please submit a separate online application form for each course.

Instrumental/Vocal Tuition

Instrumental and Vocal Tuition Guidelines

For tuition in an instrument or singing we hold auditions in April and, depending on places, we will hold a second round of auditions in early September.

Please note that all students taking instrumental or singing tuition must attend a Musicianship class once a week in addition to their practical lesson(s). Exemptions to this are possible on a case-by-case basis and can be applied for after being accepted to a course. For more information, please see our Academic Studies Department.  Students studying an orchestral instrument are required to attend a Large Ensemble Class.

Students may apply to study Musicianship by itself, either by attending one of our Standard Grade Musicianship classes or by applying for our one year Leaving Certificate course
