    Musicianship Classes

    Class tuition in Musicianship studies is provided for all students. Students attend a weekly class at the appropriate level, and study for internal grade examinations (Initial to Grade Vlll). The duration of the class varies according to grade.

    The following classes are on offer:

    • Musicianship Classes (Initial;Primary, Grades l to Vlll)
    • Adult Musicianship Classes (Grades l to Vlll)

    Certificate Course:

    • Leaving Certificate (1 year course)

    All students attending instrumental/voice lessons are required to attend a musicianship class at the appropriate level.
    Enrolment for these classes takes place separately at the beginning of September each year. Exemptions from Musicianship for part time students are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please see the Musicianship Exemption Form 2012-13  for more information and for applying for exemptions.

    Fees
    Students attending instrumental/voice classes are charged a small fee for musicianship classes. Students attending certificate courses are required to pay fees.
