    present an     Interdisciplinary Symposium  on Music, Plantation and Migration

    Focussing on the events surrounding the plantation of Ulster, topics to be presented include the importation of music from Scotland to Ireland, music in the court of James 1 and the recording of the plantation in Irish traditional music. L ectures will take place from 10-12 and from 14.15-16.15, with a concert given by the DIT  Early Music and Traditional Ensemble at 13.15
