The department is well equipped with:

• over 90 pianos (including Steinway, Kawai, Boston, Yamaha and Petrof)
• 2 pipe organs (including a Kenneth Jones instrument)
• 2 harpsichords (Rubio and Greenhalgh)
• fortepiano
• virginal (Morley)

The keyboard laboratory contains 10 digital keyboards.

Limited practice facilities are available to Conservatory students
