- 3 years full-time
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate in six subjects (including English or Irish) two of which must be at grade C3 or higher on higher level papers or an equivalent qualification.
Audition Requirements
To attend one three-hour session, when you will be asked to participate in the following:
- Group workshop: drama exercises with other applicants, followed by group discussion
- Presentation of monologue: two to three minutes in length from a play of your choice. We recommend that you choose a piece close to your own experience, age, culture, etc.
- Questions: drama staff will answer any questions you have about the course
- Writing: you will be given a very short text to read and asked to provide a short written response to a set question
2013 Audition Dates:
2013 Drama auditions will be held the week beginning 15 April 2013.
Mature Students
Mature students, defined as candidates 23 years of age or over on 1st January of the year of entry, are exempted from these entry requirements. Admission to the programme is based on the audition.
