DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama is pleased to offer an internship in events production and marketing.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Conservatory Events Manager and will gain valuable experience in the areas of events management and production, marketing and communications.  

Duties may include developing content for social media, distributing posters/flyers for events, posting show listings online, assisting with Front of House duties at events, identifying marketing opportunities and initiatives, assisting with mailings to schools. 


This internship is unpaid and is only open to current students of Dublin Institute of Technology. The time commitment is 3 hours per week. The ideal start-date is during the week of September 26, depending on the candidate’s schedule. The position will be located in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Rathmines (163 Rathmines Rd Lower).

DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama is a conservatoire centre of excellence for education in the performing arts. We offer high quality, performance-based programmes in music from age three through to doctoral study, an undergraduate programme in drama performance, and courses for adults. We cover the broadest range of performing arts disciplines in Ireland with degree programmes in classical and Irish traditional music, composition, musicology, music education, jazz, opera, drama and (in association with partner colleges) rock and pop music, film scoring, and musical theatre. Our graduates go on to make successful careers and significant contributions in the performing arts and cultural industries in Ireland and beyond.

In 2015-2016, the Conservatory presented 161 events, with a total impact of 17,000 people (student & staff performers, and audience members).
