Lecturer in Piano and Repetiteur

Danusia has been a member of staff at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama since 1987 where she works as piano lecturer and as accompanist and repetiteur.
Danusia is much in demand as recitalist and accompanist and has performed extensively in Ireland, UK and Belgium. She has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra and has made several radio and television broadcasts as soloist and accompanist with RTE and Belgian radio and television. She has a keen interest in chamber music and has been a member of various ensembles.

In addition, Danusia is a qualified music therapist. She has given various presentations and workshops in this field at many venues including the Cork School of Music, and a presentation Sound and Silence at the first music therapy conference in Dublin in 1998.  Danusia has participated in numerous summer courses and workshops including the Geneva Conference on Educators, J.E Dalcroze, C. Orff and courses in Dublin and at the Kodály Institute in Kecscemet in Hungary.  In the summer of 2013, Danusia participated in the Oxenfoord International summer course for singers and accompanists working with course director Malcolm Martineau.
