Miriam O’Meara

Miriam O’Meara is currently lecturing in Voice and Speech, Shakespeare in Performance Acting, Radio Drama and Recital at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama.  She lectured at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin and the Education Department TCD. She was a Clinical Supervisor for the Department of Clinical Speech TCD and for the Department of Languages, also TCD.

Miriam has been adjudicator at the Feis Ceoil and has directed plays, operas, musical theatre and performance works at the Project Arts Centre, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, National Concert Hall, Hugh Lane Gallery of Modern Art and at the Andrew’s Lane Theatre. Her own plays have been performed at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, Toronto Theatre Festival, Project Arts Centre and the Triskell Arts Centre.
