Yvonne began her music studies at the age of 5 at the College of Music (now DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama), where she studied piano, violin, viola and organ and took part in numerous competitions both here and in England. She has performed many times in the National Concert Hall and was a guest pianist in Vicar Street at the Let’s Swing Again Big Band Celebration. She graduated in 1995 from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and also holds diplomas from the London College of Music, Trinity College London and the Royal Schools of Music.

As an accompanist Yvonne has worked with Lyric Opera Productions, Festival Productions and many choirs and musical societies.  Yvonne has worked as music director for numerous musical societies in Dublin covering a wide range of musical repertoire.  Her main home is with Pioneer musical society and was MD for their 100th anniversary celebrations in the National Concert Hall.
