Dublin-Born Anthony Flannery is currently undertaking a Masters in Music Performance at the Dublin Institute of Technology under the guidance of Jonathon Clifford. In November 2008, he was awarded a Degree in Music Performance (Hons) from the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Mr. Sean Fleming. This young trombone player combines a busy free-lance career alongside his studies. He performs with many professional orchestra and ensemble throughout Ireland, and has made several notable TV appearances and commercial recordings. Anthony has also enjoyed participating in many masterclasses with renowned trombone players including, Lindsay Shilling, Chris Houlding and Jason Sinclair just to name a few. Next year, he hopes to continue his Post-Graduate studies abroad.
