Described by Classic FM radio as “one of the top 5 international flautists”, in 2009, at the age of 21, Adam Walker was appointed principal flute of the London Symphony Orchestra and received the Outstanding Young Artist Award at MIDEM Classique in Cannes. In 2010 he won a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Award and was shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society Outstanding Young Artist Award. Walker is performing as soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall on Friday 13 February. For more details about Adam Walker, visit his website -
