To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising of 1916, DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama presents a selection of readings, songs and poetry which inspired, and was inspired by, the insurrection in Dublin. The production places a special focus on remembering and acknowledging the role that women played in 1916 particularly as revolutionaries and insurgents fighting on an equal basis with their male counterparts. Featuring first-year drama students of DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama.
