A short 'shaggy dog opera' in which a solo soprano searches for her thimble. All are welcome to attend. The composer, Tom Johnson, will be in attendance. Tom Johnson studied privately with Morton Feldman and established himself as a composer of the minimalist group in New York in the 1970s, later settling in Paris, where he has lived since 1983. Among his works are The Four Note Opera, Failing, Narayana’s Cows and the Bonhoeffer Oratorio
