Internationally-renowned harpist, Maeve Gilchrist will work with students from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama’s vibrant harp programme. Edinburgh-born Maeve has been credited as an innovator on her native Celtic Harp due to her unique chromatic and improvisational approach to the instrument. Based in Boston, USA, Maeve tours Internationally as a solo artist and with her trio. She teaches at the Berklee College of Music and has been published by Hal Leonard.

Gilchrist is in Ireland to perform in a new collaboration with Colin Dunne (Irish dance), Tola Custy (fiddle) and David Power (uilleann pipes), beginning a nationwide Irish tour on September 13 at The Sugar Club, Dublin. Presented by Music Network. More details:
