Welcome to the Dublin School of Creative Arts

Welcome to our School in the Dublin Institute of Technology, Grangegorman.

We have just completed our 4th year in the Dublin School of Creative Arts in Grangegorman and celebrated with a wonderful graduate exhibition in June of this year.Y ou can view the work of the class of 2018 at www.ditgradex.com.

This coming academic year 2019/20 will be one of the most important in the history of our school and DIT. On 17 July, An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar came to our Grangegorman campus accompanied by Ministers Richard Bruton TD, Paschal O Donoghue TD and Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD to formally announce that our application had been successful and that DIT, ITB and ITT will be designated as Technological University Dublin- to be known as TU Dublin – and will be formally established in January 2019. On this date, our school will become the first full University Art school in the Republic of Ireland.

Work is well underway on our new campus buildings and we are right on target for the summer of 2020 when our 700 Creative Arts students will be joined by over 3000 music, media, film, drama and television students in a new purpose built 17,000m2 cultural hub with a 400 seat concert hall, blackbox theatre and a full suite of Art, Design, Photography, TV and Gaming Studios and Workshops.

We hope to keep you informed of all of our exciting developments in our programmes and facilities. We have introduced a new Dublin School of Creative Arts newsletter and would be pleased if you would add your name to our subscribers here.
