Welcome to our New Campus in Grangegorman

Monday September 1st 2014 was a truly historic day for the School of Art, Design and Printing at DIT. After 2 years of planning we moved into our new home in Grangegorman.

The School has now begun a process of transformation with the move from isolated rented buildings to an actual city centre campus with a full range of integrated student services and facilities. Grangegorman is designed to break down narrow academic silos and create a place, which is outward looking and allows our students to explore and realise their projects using all the resources of our new campus.

For the first time ever we have all our programmes located in one single studio and workshop complex. The studios and workshops are brand new and have been reequipped with a whole range of new equipment and specialist furniture.

The vision for the school is quite simple – now that all our programmes and facilities are in the one complex we can  start making  a genuine interdisciplinary space where the goal of a creating innovative art and design which will help individuals and society see the world in new and different ways can be achieved.
