Colleagues,

ICT Services wish to advise all staff that timetable viewing for the 2017/18 academic year is currently available to all staff and students.

Data is currently synced three times daily at 09:30am, 13:00pm and 17:00pm. Changes to timetables in CMIS will be reflected in CMIS Go after these data syncs have been conducted.  This will provide the latest updated timetables in CMIS Go.

ICT Services continues to engage with our external IT software partners in order to restore full service levels (five minute data synchronisation).

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

Regards,

ICT Services

And remember -  key points for this time of year:

Friday September 8th, at 4pm All webcourses modules were made unavailable

This will not affect any of your content, student submissions or 2016-17 student enrolments. However it gives you the opportunity to review the module, remove 2016-17 students as appropriate, update content and prepare the module for self-enrolment for incoming 2017-18 students.
NB! And it is up to you any time after 8th September to make the module available once more.(Log into your module: Control Panel – Customisation – Properties – Set Availability)

Webcourses access for existing 2016-17 students
2016-17 students will remain in your webcourses module until you choose to remove them* Before making your module available for self-enrolment by incoming and progressing 2017-18 students you should, as appropriate, remove the previous year’s students. Removing students is a quick and easy process, see instructions here.
*Accounts belonging to students who have completed their studies at DIT will be removed in November - date TBC.
