Welcome to ICT Services
As a new staff member you are entitled to the use of a wide range of services within DIT including email, Wi-Fi, telephony and voicemail, classroom technology, data storage, training courses, technical support, and much more. You also have access to various services provided by HEAnet such as Eduroam, Wi-Fi access, media storage, online streaming, and video conferencing.
To get started with any DIT ICT Staff service, you will need your staff number and email account. These should be provided to you from HR when you begin your employment. If you do not receive either of these items, please contact your line manager immediately.
To log into computers on the DIT network, access DIT wireless services (including Eduroam) and access staff shared services like printing and storage drives, you will need an ICT services account. Simply fill out the ICT domain user application form, have it signed by your line manager, and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org
ICT Services offers a wide range of staff training in a number of different areas and applications.
This includes training courses on applications such as Webcourses, CMS, CMIS, Agresso, G-Suite and Dreamweaver
Some course materials may be accessed via Webcourses - DIT's E-Learning environment.
Lecturers may use this format to communicate, provide lecture notes, discuss and collaborate directly with you throughout your time here at DIT.
Academic staff can view their timetable anytime online through our Web Timetables service.
As a staff member of DIT you are entitled to download a range of software applications and suites, including Google's G-Suite, Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud products.
