What we do:

Staff Development provides a range of development programmes for staff to support their personal and professional development such as the DIT Leadership Development Programme, Mentoring, Well-being at Work, Managing Change, Career Planning Workshops. We provide mandatory training to ensure good practice and compliance with DIT policies - for example Dignity at Work Training, Licence to Interview, PMDS Training for Managers, Health & Safety Training. Staff are also encouraged and supported to invest in their academic development through the DIT Fee Support and Fee Waiver Programmes. Staff Development also plays a key role in delivering the DIT People Strategy under the Develop Pillar with the design of professional development competency frameworks that ensure individual, team and strategic learning needs are met.
