Staff Induction Training

Staff Induction Training Days take place in October, January and May each academic year.  The training takes place in St. Laurence's Church in Grangegorman, and provides an ideal opportunity for staff to visit our new campus.  Prof. Brian Norton, DIT President, provides the Welcome Address, and staff get to mingle and meet other staff.  We even provide a walking tour of the campus (weather permitting!). Representatives from other services, internal and external, will also be in attendance.

2017/2018 Training Dates:

• Friday 20th October 2017
• Friday 26th January 2018
• Friday 25th May 2018

New staff members will receive an invitation from Staff Development to attend the first Staff Induction Training day after they commence employment.  Places can also be booked directly by contacting Hannah Evers at staff.training@dit.ie or 01 402 7870

Induction Process:

Once a new staff member has been appointed to a role in DIT they will undergo a comprehensive Induction and Probation Process.
