Course Aim:

To enhance delegates’ chairing and committee skills and develop more fully their potential when working in groups. Delegates, whether in the role of chairperson or committee member, will be able to:

  • Describe the key aspects of each role in a meeting
  • Write a meeting plan following a systematic approach
  • Prepare a strategy to manage difficult situations as a chairperson or committee member
  • List steps to ensure decisions are made
  • Identify ways to make their meetings more productive
