Fee Waivers on DIT Courses
Revised Policy on Fee Waivers for Staff on DIT Part-time and Evening Courses
Under the Charter on Staff Development for 2000 and Beyond, all Whole-time, Part Time and Pro-rata part-time staff who have been employed by DIT for at least one year or who have contracts that will run for at least twelve months from the date of application for fee waiver will enjoy fee waiver on DIT part-time and evening courses as an incentive to staff development.
Fee Waivers will be applied pro-rata to part-time staff based on the number of hours worked.
Academic staff who are required to complete the Post Graduate Certificate in Third Level Learning & Teaching within the first two years of their employment, under the Policy on Requirement for Newly Appointed Academic Staff to Obtain Teaching Qualifications will be granted full fee waiver for that programme regardless of their contract hours
