Sacha Lyons – 4th Year Culinary Arts

Sasha Lyons

Sacha is a 4th year Culinary Arts student at DIT Cathal Brugha Street.

Sacha commutes to DIT every day from Drogheda where she lives with her family. She also has a part-time job in Dublin to help with her college expenses.

Despite her hectic schedule Sacha is really involved in college life and likes to take any opportunity that comes her way. She recently completed an 8 week coding course at DIT and she is involved in boxing and self-defence activites. Sacha is also a member of DIT’s sign language society. Sacha is a peer mentor and she supports young students at DIT Cathal Brugha Street.

She was really nervous at the Orientation Week 4 years ago when she started her DIT journey but as she prepares to graduate she is really thankful for the support she received through the Access programme. Sacha wants to pursue a career as a pastry chef.

Please help us today by investing in the future of the next generaion. You can donate online here. Thank you.
