Best Will in the World Week 2012

2012 Best Will in the World Week took place from October 22nd – 26th. During Best Will in the World Week, organised by MyLegacy, a coalition of over 70 Irish charities, including DIT Foundation, solicitors across the country offered will consultations to the general public for a flat fee of €50.

Those interested in making or updating an existing will, are always encouraged by mylegacy.ie to leave a gift to their favourite charity in their will after loved ones have been looked after.

A legacy gift making a difference at DIT

The Michael O’Donnell Memorial Fund was launched in 2007 to support engineering teaching and research activities at DIT and the development of engineering facilities at the new DIT campus at Grangegorman.
The fund was established following a substantial legacy from the estate of the late Michael O’Donnell, former principal of Bolton Street College of Technology and the first acting President of DIT. In addition, a number of DIT graduates have made donations to the Fund which is managed by DIT Foundation, a registered charity that promotes and supports the development of DIT.
