In 2011 the DIT Fashion Show chose DIT Foundation as one of their chosen charities and raised €4,000 for DIT Foundation Annual Fund.
After consideration the DIT Foundation decided to award 5 scholarships to DIT Access students who have a proven record in volunteering and community activities.
In recognition of the time and effort dedicated to others we have awarded scholarships to the following students:
- Darren Scully (BA Leisure Management)
- Lorna Maher (Planning &Environmental Management)
- Zineb Nouhi (BSc Mathematical Sciences)
- John O’Connor (BSc. Environmental Health)
- Katie Duggan (BA Languages and International Tourism)
These scholarships will make a huge difference to these students, some of whom are in their final year at DIT.
We would like to thank everyone invloved in raising funds for the scholarships as well as everyone in the DIT Access and Civic Engagement office.
