DIT Students in Dublin’s Bavaria City Racing
DIT Foundation was delighted to see a group of DIT students take to the streets of Dublin in the Bavaria City Racing motorsport demonstration on June 3rdlast.
Over 100,000 people attended the Bavaria City Racing event, despite the inclement weather, as the City was transformed into a spectacular race track with over 70 vehicles taking part, including some of the biggest names in world motorsports, such as Jenson Button, Giedo van der Garde, Eugene Laverty, as well as a host of others.
DIT Foundation was involved in the early stages of setting up the relationship with the organisers of the Bavaria Street Racing which resulted in a group of students from the College of Engineering and Built Environment taking part in the Bavaria City Racing event. The students also had the opportunity to get behind the scenes and meet the big teams in the pit area. Check out the pictures below.
