ARUP Trust support student collaborative Design Build competition at DIT

DIT Foundation and the College of Engineering & Built Environment are delighted to announce the launch of the 2015/2016 Design Build Competition supported by the ARUP Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for DIT students to work collaboratively with fellow students, to impact on the Grangegorman project and develop key skills to set you apart from the crowd.
ARUP Trust is supporting this innovative project which develops the vital graduate attributes of DIT students improving their ability to be creative, innovative and collaborative when they enter the workforce.
Teams of 4* undergraduate students from at least 2 disciplines will come together to work on a design build brief and compete with others teams presenting to a panel of judges in January 2016. A prize fund of €3,000 is available.
The Design Build Competition is Open to all 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year undergraduate students of construction management, quantity surveying, civil, structural, building services, mechanical, architecture, architecture technology, environmental management and property economics.
*Individual students, or groups of less then four will be allocated a full team by the project coordinators
