L to R: David Willis (ESB Electric IReland), Daire Reilly (2014 Travel Scholar), Aidan Duffy (DIT Dublin Energy Lab)

DIT PhD student Daire Reilly is the 2014 Travel Scholar in Renewable Energy. Daire will follow in the footsteps of the first scholar Declan Arthur who worked in Kenya and his successor Fintan McLoughlin who was placed in Nepal. In April 2014 Daire travelled to Nepal to work in two projects with Renewable World. Below are his blog posts from the field which give a great sense of life in Nepal and the local challenges and opportunities for Renewable World.
