Student leaders accept Enterprise Rent-A-Car Donation

The DIT Access & Civic Engagement Team would like to thank Enterprise Rent-A-Car for their generous donation of €1,500 to support the teams work in supporting students at second level to access a college education.
DIT Access to College Team work closely with our 35 Link Schools and other groups to deliver an Innovative Programme that is focused on addressing the real barriers to higher education in disadvantaged communities. There are almost 400 students directly involved in the Access to College Programme across our link schools and organisations.
The generous donation of €1,500 from Enterprise Rent-A-Car will allow the DIT Access2College team to design a suite of online resources for leaving cert students, young adults and their families who wish to apply to DIT as well as host an information evening for students and parents. They include valuable information on college fees, financial supports, academic supports etc. and make a real difference to students exploring their opportunities for third level.
This generous donation is just one way Enterprise Rent-A-Car are supporting DIT. In the past couple of years the company, and in particular the Group HR Director Leslee O’Loughlin have been working with the Student Leaders , helping them to develop their skills and confidence as part of the Leadership Launchpad programme.
