Congratulations to two interdisciplinary teams of staff, led by Dave O'Connor and Patrick Flynn respectively, who have both been awarded grants from the Michael O'Donnell Memorial Fund, for their proposals for projects involving interdisciplinary work and students learning with communities.

The projects will see students work with local communities and statutory bodies to produce an urban design framework for lands at Broombridge, and to research and develop two design schemes for a new city library and inner city housing.

Thanks to staff in the DIT Students Learning with Communities, the College of Engineering and Built Environment and all applicants for their support.
