Michael O'Donnell Fund Impact 2015

DIT engineering students who dedicated their time to the Maths tuition Programme in 2015
Since 2010 the Michael O'Donnell Memorial Fund has been supporting inspirational projects at DIT Bolton Street including the ongoing Maths Tuition Programme which each year pairs DIT engineering undergrads with leaving cert students to help the school leavers reach their potential in maths.

Tutors and students at the Maths Tuition Certificate Awards in Mount Carmel School, Dublin 1
The Maths Tuition Programme at DIT has a massive impact both on the leaving cert students and the DIT undergraduates. DIT students develop key skills while tutoring the leaving certificate students and make a real and lasting impact on the lives of these students.
This project would not work with the close collaboration with two Dublin inner city schools O'Connell's Boys School and Mount Carmel.
Supporting Collaboration in the College of Engineering & Built Environment

In 2015 The Michael O'Donnell Fund also supported a collaborative project between the 4th year architects, 3rd year architectural technologists and the structural engineers to design a housing development for the inner city.
