
Musgrave Scholarships for the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology
Musgrave are a longstanding and highly valued partner of DIT and have already pledged a €250,000 investment to develop a state-of-the-art training restaurant for DIT Grangegorman campus. The programme is part of Musgrave MarketPlace’s ongoing commitment to supporting the development of the Irish food sector and investing in up-and-coming chefs and future leaders of the food industry.
To complement this important pledge to the capital development of the new DIT campus at Grangegorman, the Musgrave MarketPlace has also invested in a new scholarship fund. The Musgrave Scholarships in Culinary Arts supports eight high achieving DIT students with scholarships to the value of €3,000 each. These scholarships will be funded on an annual basis as part of the company’s commitment to food leadership and investment in the future of the Irish food sector.
Scholarship Details
The Musgrave Marketplace Scholarship is open to the below students:
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of DT407 – BA in Culinary Arts
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of DT416 – BSc in Bachelor of Culinary Entrepreneurship
Eight Musgrave Scholarships will be awarded to the top performing students in each of the four years of DT407 and DT416. Each of the successful students will receive a scholarship of €3,000.
The awarded students will also have the opportunity to complete an internship with Musgrave Marketplace.
