Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club Scholarships

 

The DIT School of Hospitality Management and Tourism is delighted to announce the new Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club Scholarships. DIT’s School of Hospitality Management and Tourism enjoys a long standing relationship with Corcoran Jennison Hospitality, headquartered in Boston and operators of the Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club in Cape Cod.

 

Scholarship Details

The Ocean Edge Scholarship is open to the below students:

  • 2nd year students of DT408T BA Degree programme in Hospitality Management (2 places)
  • 3rd year students of DT401T BSc Degree programme in International Hospitality Management (2 places)

The Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club scholarships are valued at €1,500 each and will be awarded in October 2017.

 

In addition, the recipients of the scholarships will be offered a highly attractive 6 month internship with Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club in Cape Cod starting in March 2018.

 

Application Process

Students are required to submit an expression of interest (a maximum of 250 words in word document) and a CV to the School office - tourism.hospitality@dit.ie  by 5pm on Wednesday, 11 October. 

Interviews will take place on Wednesday, 18 October. Students will be informed of the outcome the following day by email.

In addition to the expression of interest and CV, students’ performance to date will be taken into consideration.

International student exchanges offer DIT students the opportunity to gain invaluable international experience, which supports and promotes greater understanding of the global hospitality sector.
