SIRUS support students of Building Services Engineering

SIRUS support scholarships in engineering

Frank Caul and James Byrne (DIT graduate) joined forces in 1989 to form the very successful company Sirus Group. The Sirus Group employs almost 100 people, many of those Building Services students from DIT and operates across Ireland and mainland Europe. The SIRUS team specialise in the control and management of building systems across a diverse range of sectors including industry, education, retail, hospitality, healthcare, life sciences, data centres and airports. The team work in an exciting area of energy engineering and sustainable infrastructure design.

The aim of the SIRUS Scholarship for Engineering is to award passionate and motivated students who will make their mark on the built environment. Students interested in applying for the SIRUS Scholarships will be asked to demonstrate (i) where they have displayed a stick-with-it attitude and determination that was maintained over time despite failure or setbacks and (ii) their desire to impact society for the better.
