DIT Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of the Wallace Family Scholarship for Engineering for the 2017/2018 Academic Year. 

The Wallace Family Scholarships will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic achievement as well as engagement with the world of engineering. The scholarship will recognise a high-achieving ‘one to watch’ student who will make their mark in the world of engineering both in Ireland and abroad.The Wallace Family Scholarship award will favour, where possible and appropriate, students not in receipt of other grant funding. 

The Scholarship, managed by DIT Foundation, is an award of €3,000.  It is open to all 3rd year students of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Design, Product Design or Building Services Engineering. The successful student will receive a scholarship of €3,000 in both their 3rd and 4th years. 

To be eligible to apply students must:

  • Be a 3rd year student at DIT of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Design, Product Design or Building Services Engineering. This includes students transitioning from the ordinary degree courses.
